Cookies & Data tracking

We do not use cookies to track your browsing behaviour.

For audience measurement we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics software. We host Umami ourselves on our own infrastructure in Germany (under the subdomain analytics.calyxservice.de). No data is transmitted to an external analytics provider, and no data is transferred to third countries.

Umami works entirely without cookies and does not track you across multiple websites. It neither sets cookies nor stores or reads any information on your device. Consent under Section 25 (1) TDDDG is therefore not required, and no cookie banner is needed.

We collect only anonymised, aggregated usage data: pages visited, the referring page (referrer), approximate origin (country), device type, and interaction events such as clicks, scroll depth and time on page. No personal profiling takes place. Your IP address is not stored; it is only processed server-side to generate an anonymous, daily-rotating session identifier and is not retained beyond that.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the statistical analysis of usage behaviour for the technical optimisation and needs-based design of our online offering.
